Dirk De Vuyst, born in Belguim, moved to the United States in 1983. In 1995, Dirk and his wife Rita purchased International Marble Industries (IMI) in Woodstock, Georgia. IMI is a cast polymer manufacturing plant and the leading manufacturer and fabricator of MasterCast Performance Engineered Composites. Their products include Vanity Tops, Kitchen Countertops, Bath Tubs, Whirlpool Tubs, Shower Bases, Shower Wall Surrounds, and Tub Wall Surrounds. In the fourteen years IMI has been under the De Vuyst’s leadership, the company has grown from 20 employees to 110.
